Emre dreams of space

As a child, Emrecan Kizilirmak used to look at the stars with his father. But it wasn't enough to look. Now IVA's own technology leaper Emrecan "Emre" Kizilirmak is aiming to become an astronaut.

Municipalities

Engineers in municipalities work in single or several administrations or municipal companies – all with different areas of responsibility. For example, urban planning, environmental and safety supervision and traffic planning.

Industry & Production

The manufacturing industry is the largest industry in Sweden and offers exciting opportunities for engineers. Through Tekniksprånget, young people can practice and contribute to innovative projects in various areas.

Regions

The regions are responsible for tasks common to large geographical areas. For example, health and medical care, culture, public transport and strengthening the growth and development of the regions.

IT & Programming

IT can be anything from creating and maintaining computer programs and apps, to networking and communicating over the internet, to managing data and solving technical problems. It also includes areas such as web development, computer networking, and cybersecurity.

Real estate

Working with real estate as an engineer means, among other things, streamlining and planning. This may involve reviewing energy consumption and climate impact, planning new building projects or streamlining technology in hospitals.
