Best practice for external communication
Participating in Tekniksprånget makes a big difference on several levels. Partly for an individual who may find their way in professional life, partly for your business – but also for Swedish skills supply in general. Whatever drives you and your business in this, it's something to be proud of.
Here are tips and tools for the best way to communicate your participation.
LinkedIn is a brilliant place to start. Or other digital channels your company is on. Present your tech buddies in a post – it doesn't have to be advanced – or flaunt milestones they've reached during the internship.
School visits and instagram. We would like to see Tekniksprångarna inspire more people to do the internship and encourage them to make school visits. For example, at his old high school.
The website and other internal channels are another place to introduce your new, young colleagues. It can be a short interview about what they get to do during the day, what they want to learn more about or why they applied to you in the first place. Long-time Tekniksprånget participants Subtonomy are doing well on their website. Feel free to get inspiration there.
Otherwise, here's a text you can steal straight off:
We participate in Tekniksprånget
We at [COMPANY] are proud participants in Tekniksprånget, an internship program where young adults get the chance to try out the engineering profession for real. It is also a chance for us to shape the next generation of engineers.
Through our participation, we hope not only to gain a head start in our own future recruitments, but also to contribute to Swedish skills supply and innovation.
