Work as a consultant
Working as a consultant in the engineering profession involves offering expertise to various companies to solve technical problems and develop projects.
Practice as an IT Consultant
Work on my own project that ran throughout the employment period. It was about code review and the trainees got their own server on which they installed a database and a code review tool. In there, they reviewed and quality checked ongoing projects to find improvements and simplifications for the company and submitted a final report in connection with the end of the internship period.
Participation in workshops with customers.
Conducting acceptance tests of applications prior to launch. This meant that they downloaded the application on their mobile phones, manually tested the product and looked for bugs. They then submitted suggestions for improvements.
Participation in three procurements, where the interns calculated, among other things, the delivery speed within the company matched with the customer's requirement specification. They also worked on reviewing the consultants' CVs and looking for skills that match the client's request/requirements.
Work on a project at a client for which the consulting company has been able to charge their time. In the customer project, they updated a global group's central website, including their regional country sites. The work also included the Group's sister companies.
Take internal training, including sketching courses and Java.
